The Police in Lagos on Tuesday arrested a suspected cultist identified as Aloma.
He was arrested at Jebba Street, Ebute-Metta, at about 11:30am.
The suspect, who has been on the police’ wanted persons list for a long time, allegedly confessed to have killed four people at Evans Square, Yaba.
According to the police, he also confessed that he led the armed robbery gang that attacked three hotels on Apapa Road in Ebute-Metta.
Confirming his arrest, the police command’s spokesperson, Dolapo Badmos, a Superintendent (SP), said some cultists were also nabbed.
She stated that operatives of the Denton Police Station received information on the hideout of the hoodlums.
Badmos said the suspects volunteered their confessional statements.
