The Hong Kong LED lighting manufacturing company, iFlux, on Monday promised to assist Nigerian government in alternative source of power in the country.
Mr Teddy Lee, the Managing Director of the company, announced this at the launching of its second store in VIctoria Island, Lagos where some of the company’s products were showcased.
“We are in a time when Nigeria needs quality LED lighting materials that can stand the current low power supply in the country.
“In opening this branch, it is just another way to ensure we serve our customers better with quality LED lighting equipment that will stand the test of time, even in the fluctuating voltages we have for some of our products.
“In January, we were able to collaborate with Techno Nigeria to provide solar energy lights to the whole of Computer Village and we are planning to do more.
“It may interest you to know that solar energy lighting is expensive and not easy to achieve, but with more efforts, and as soon as the economic crises softens a bit, it is going to be achievable.
“The government alone cannot provide all that the nation needs, especially in the aspect of power, which is a very integral sector of the economy.
“Nigeria is also a fertile ground for business and foreign investment, and for being here since five months ago, we have not had any regrets.
“We also hope to train potential digital entrepreneurs in our technologies as time goes on,” Lee said.
He said that the company would open more branches to serve their customers better.
According to him, the company’s products come with up to five year’s warranty and low power consumption by simply changing to LED lighting equipment.
NAN reports that iFlix, in collaboration with Techno, also provided a Community Social Responsibility Project.
