Sharon Stone looks stunning at 57, honoured for AIDS Activism
Sharon Stone pulled another alluring ensemble out of the bag when she attended The National AIDS Monument Benefit in Hollywood on Thursday night.
The 57-year-old actress was sure to turn heads in a low-cut veridian green vest top crafted in an unusual wet look fabric.
Not afraid to mix varying colours and textures, the award-winning actress teamed the look with flared crop trousers and teal stilettos.
Finishing the look with an extra ounce of opulence, Sharon draped a green and gold statement necklace around her neck.
Her lightly made-up face was given a pop of colour with a pink lipstick while her short blonde locks were worn in an effortlessly sleek style.
The art photography auction saw the actress honoured for her tireless work against AIDs.
Sharon has been an AIDs activist for over 20 years and frequently works alongside amfAR, the Foundation for Aids Research.
All the time I was campaigning I had groups threatening to kill me just because I was telling the truth about how people were dying and how it was going to escalate, how it was going to double and triple and quadruple and escalate and that we really needed to address it,' she dished.
She added: ''People didn’t like what I had to say and they said ‘Let’s just kill her, let’s not let her talk’, and I knew then that I had to stay with this.'
The Hollywood star also revealed that amfAR was once threatened with funding cuts if she publicly advocated the use of condoms.
