Martyn Hett, a beloved online and TV star, has been confirmed as the latest victim of the tragic Manchester attack.
The heartbreaking news was revealed by his best friend this morning, who posted:
“We got the news last night that our wonderful iconic and beautiful Martyn didn’t survive.
"He left this world exactly how he lived, centre of attention.
"I’m in a really bad way so please forgive me if I don’t reply.
"Thankfully I have his wonderful family and amazing friends to keep each other strong.
"I love you Martyn. I always will. X”
The 29 year old, who was adored by fans online, was due to travel to America today for a two month trip.
The PR manager had thousands of fans on the internet. In particular, he was well known for his Deirdre Barlow tattoo on his ankle. The Corrie super-fan went on to appear on Channel 4's Tattoo Fixers – where he asked for an even bigger image of Deirdre Barlow behind bars.
In 2014, Martyn and his partner Russell also appeared on Come Dine With Me, where the couple took home the top prize.
