A finalist in the 2007 edition of West African Idols, Eric Arubayi, has passed on.
The singer died in the early hours of Saturday, February 11, at 33.
Reports say he had been ill for a while, and eventually gave up the ghost at the Delta State University Teaching Hospital, Oghara, where he was receiving treatment.
He is survived by wife, Chinonso, and their two-year-old son, Jayden.
