Arsenal fans may have been underwhelmed by the signing of Japanese youngster Takuma Asano, but he’s clearly a pretty big deal at Sanfrecce Hiroshima.
The 21-year-old striker looks a promising talent after some fine goalscoring performances in the J-League, and bid an emotional farewell to his club on his final appearance.
Taking to the pitch to address the crowd, it clearly all got a bit much for Asano, who struggled to fight back the tears as he prepares for his move to north London.
Arsenal fans will be hoping Arsene Wenger has found a real gem here, and if this kind of send-off is anything to go by, he may well go on to defy expectations at the Emirates Stadium.
