Petr Cech picks up groin injury in most Arsenal way possible

The no.1 shot-stopper sustained the injury when he came up for a corner and the Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger disclosed that the goalkeeper was suffering from a groin problem before the game.

“Cech had a little groin problem but declared himself 100% fit. You trust the player. He is 33 years of age,” said Wenger. As a result, the former Chelsea
keeper is likely to miss at least four Premier League games, plus the Champions League second leg in Barcelona and the FA Cup replay against Hull.
