Pacquiao donates more than 1000 houses to the masses

Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao, a professional boxer turned politician

Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao, a Filipino world champion professional boxer and House of Representatives member, has donated free houses to his constituents at Sarangani Province. Here is what he put on his Facebook wall:

“I’m so happy giving these houses free to my constituents in Sarangani Province from my own pocket. More than a thousand families are the beneficiaries. And I’m still building more because I always believe what the bible says in 1 Peter 4:8-10 (NIV):

Thank you Lord for everything even some people are criticizing me but I’m still happy because you live in me.”

This is a lesson to politicians in Nigeria and many African countries who, instead of making life easy for them appropriate their commonwealth! According to Dr Jide Ololajulo of the Department of Archaeology and Anthropology, University of Ibadan who also shared it on his wall: “Nigerian politicians who distribute bowls of rice to their constituents as dividends of democracy and then build mansions for themselves need to read this…”
