After claiming their fifth world title, the Golden Eaglets dominated the individual awards of the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup with the duo of Victor Osimhen and skipper Kelechi Nwakali picking up some of the top accolades.
Nwakali who was outstanding throughout the tournament, was adjudged the Most Valuable Player of the tournament, thereby picking up the adidas golden ball. The silver ball went to Osimhen while Mali's Aly Malle got the bronze ball.
Osimhen who is now the highest goal scorer in the history of the U-17 World Cup with 10 goals, won the adidas golden boot. The bronze boot was awarded to Nwakali.
Mali's goal keeper Samuel Diarra who stopped a 4th minute penalty against the Eaglets, went home with the adidas golden glove.
While the Fair Play award went to Ecuador who crashed out in the quarter-final afater losing 2-0 to Mexico.
