A police search warrant lists the claims from witnesses that led to a blood test on the basketball player being ordered
Lamar Odom snorted cocaine in the brothel where he was found unconscious, it has been claimed.
In a search warrant obtained by TMZ it has been revealed that the Nevada hospital the basketball player was being treated at after his collapse, was required to provide a blood sample to be tested for drugs.
An excerpt of the search warrant published by the website reads: "Through interviews with the prostitutes who were with him since that point, it was learned that he possibly ingested cocaine in the bathroom adjoining in the bedroom in which the prostitutes were located along with Mr Odom.
They indicated that they heard him snorting. They indicated that they had vague knowledge of him using illicit narcotics."
It is also claimed that detectives at the hospital interviewed Odom's personal assistant who allegedly confirmed that Odom had taken drugs.
The warrant continues that witnesses saw Odom taking "an unknown substance in the form of an unidentified pill, which he obtained from his pocket in a plastic bag that was unmarked."
The website adds that while the police have yet to recive the results of the blood sample test back, the Sheriff has already confirmed that if it shows cocaine was taken, Lamar could face prosecution.
Mirror Celebs has contacted a rep for Lamar for comment.
Lamar's family earlier revealed his speech is improving with therapy.
The basketball player - who recently woke up from a coma after collapsing in a brothel - is making a gradual recovery after the traumatic incident.
