Buhari Urges Law enforcement Agencies to Save Nollywood from Pirates


The president of the federal republic of nigeria President Buhari has instructed law enforcement agencies to put in more efforts in order to reduce the effects of pirates in the Nigeria entertainment industry.

He pointed out that this was necessary so that artiste can reap abundantly from there efforts

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists on Tuesday.

Adesina said president Buhari gave the orders after he got a brief from the permanent secretary of ministry of information Dr folasade Yemi esan at the presidential villa in Abuja.


As we can see Nollywood is on the rise, we should collaborate with them and help them stop these pirates who keep on reaping where they have not sown. Buhari reportedly told the delegates

The President also told the law enforcement agencies to identify the pirates and make sure they are punished.
