Kevin Hart Honoured With top Philadelphia arts award

Kevin Hart Honored by Philadelphia Arts + Business Council
Comedian Kevin Hart has been honoured for "artistic excellence" in his native Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The Central Intelligence star headed back to his hometown on Tuesday night (23May17) to receive the Anne d'Harnoncourt Award from officials at the city's Arts + Business Council Awards Celebration at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The top accolade celebrates individuals for their impact on the city, and after the ceremony, Hart admitted he was truly flattered to receive the prize.
"It's amazing," he gushed to local news channel NBC10. "I think anything that the city does for me I take it and I run with it. I'm a Philadelphia boy at heart and when you can do anything to bring attention to your city, of course I do, but when your city shows that they appreciate you and just the hard work and efforts (you put in), it sits in an amazing place in my heart, so this is a big deal to me, a big deal."

It's the latest cause for celebration for Hart - his new wife Eniko Parrish is pregnant with the couple's first child.
"Got a little boy on the way," the funnyman smiled. "Exciting times, me and the wife are extremely happy, ready to bring a new life into the world..."
The baby will be a little brother for Kevin's two children from his first marriage, son Hendrix, nine, and daughter Heaven, 12, with his ex-wife Torrei.
