Chelsea’s Aina, Sunderland’s Maja join Eagles’ camp

Youthful Chelsea FC and England U20 defender, Ola Aina and attacking midfielders Josh Maja (Sunderland) and Ebere Eze (Queens Park Rangers) at the weekend trained with the Super Eagles as they prepare to change their allegiance from England to Nigeria.
The trio was invited to join the Nigerian squad for a training match on Monday, for assessment by the technical crew.
Although the match has been called off following Burkina Faso’s inability to get some of their players to England, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) says it is working on ensuring the players become eligible to play for the Eagles
starting with the African Nations Cup and Russia 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
Nigeria host South Africa in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in June.
