The meeting, which was held behind closed doors, took place in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, inside the President’s office at the Aso Villa and lasted for about an hour.
Speaker Dogara and his partner refused to brief State House correspondents on the outcome of the meeting.
The lawmakers insisted that it was a private visit.
The meeting is coming hours after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) approved a document road map, outlining the policies and objectives it has for food sufficiency in Nigeria.
The Council also approved the takeover of two federal roads in Kaduna metropolis by the state government for rehabilitation, as requested by the Kaduna State government.
