Lauryn Hill has reportedly been hit with a $440,000 (£331,750) tax lien from officials in New Jersey.
The Ex-Factor singer allegedly owes $438,220 (£330,500) to officials at the state's Division of Taxation, while another lien from 2012 for $446,400
(£336,670) is also listed on the organisation's website, according to Bossip.com.
It is unclear if the two liens are related.
Hill has yet to respond to reports of the new financial issues, but the musician has a history of tax problems - in 2013, the former Fugees star served three months behind bars after pleading guilty to three charges of failing to file her tax returns between 2005 and 2007.
