Buhari Holds FEC Meeting In Abuja

The meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari and members of the Federal Executive Council has ended in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

Members of the Federal Executive Council are currently briefing journalists on the outcome of the meeting.

The meeting which was held at the Presidential Villa, had in  attendance the Vice President, ministers including some special advisers.

It is not exactly clear what the members deliberated on but there are several national issues including security in the Niger Delta, Boko Haram in the

Northeast and the challenge of herdsmen which formed the agenda for the meeting.

This is the first meeting of the Federal Executive Council members after the Eid-el-Fitr celebration
