50 Cent compare Kanye West to Donald Trump.

New York premiere of 'Power' season 3

50 Cent has compared Kanye West to Donald Trump.

The Life of Pablo rapper confirmed last year (15) he is planning to run for U.S. President in 2020, to the amusement of many.

One person who isn't convinced by Kanye's political aspirations is 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson.
As he appeared on chat show Conan on Wednesday night (13Jul16), host Conan O'Brien asked Jackson what he thought about Kanye's presidential bid.
"I like the idea of him running," Jackson replied, before pausing for several seconds - causing hilarity from the audience. "That's a lot of responsibility... you know what I'm saying? It's the same thing with Trump - their non-traditional styles."

Conan then asked Jackson if he was saying that "there's really no difference between Kanye running and Trump running", to which he replied: "I am saying that."
Kanye first announced his intention to run for presidency during his acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards last August (15). At the time, many people speculated that he was joking, but the rapper later insisted he was deadly serious.
During an interview for SHOWStudio's In Camera series, Kanye refused to comment on which party he would be running with, but added he has thought long and hard about what he would do if he emerged victorious.
"I would like to sit with engineers and come up with solutions and alternatives for people without opportunity that end up having to go through desperate measures, who feel like life isn't worth living, or that other people's lives don't matter," he explained.
"I think the way I collaborate with people, the way that I empower the people I collaborate with ... is a different way to problem solve than a normal political way. I want to just, ask questions."
