Utaka backs Siasia, Amuneke to lift Eagles

Former Super Eagles striker, John Utaka has backed coach Samson Siasia and Emmanuel Amuneke to lead the national team to qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations.

Utaka who played in Egypt with Ismaily stated that with a good selection, the Eagles can beat the Pharoahs of Egypt in AFCON qualifier.

“It’s a good choice [selection of Siasia and Amunike]. They will do very well,” Utaka told KingFut..

“I think whoever the coach picked will be more than ready for the match at hand. It is difficult say but it is up to the coach to assemble his starting 11.

“We have quick players in the attack as well but I think Obi Mikel will be the key to Nigeria’s play because he knows his midfield duties.”
