L.A.X to feature blind rappers in new track

Fast rising Afro-pop singer, Damilola Afolabi, popularly known as L.A.X is set to hit the studio with some students of the Pacelli School for the Blind, Lagos.
The singer, who discovered some amazing rappers among the visually-impaired students, will assist them to record their songs and help raise some income.

“It is not easy to survive when you have all your full senses. Now you can imagine what it is like not to have your sight? I am always moved to tears when I see them, but they encourage me a lot because they are always happy and their talent level is very high,” he said.

L.A.X, son of shipping magnate, Taiwo Afolabi, was part of the team that joined Nollywood actress Sotayo Sobola-led Sotee Entertainment on a recent humanitarian visit to the Pacelli School for the Blind.

The “Caro” crooner noted that his vision for those visually impaired talents is to help build them into independent citizens, who will be able to help their school and the society at large.

“I call on all well-meaning Nigerians to come to their aid and the ordinary citizens to do all that is within their means to help so we will not have more problems in the society. If I could give my eyes to the blind, I would have done just that,” said the singer.
