Adele to wear Burberry on tour

The 'Hello' hitmaker has enlisted the help of the British fashion brand to create a number of jaw-dropping bespoke gowns for her 100-night tour, entitled '25', which will kick off in the UK and run through to South America until October.

Burberry chief creative and chief executive officer Christopher Bailey said in a statement: ''It is a huge privilege to work with Adele.

''She is an incredible artist who I admire enormously for her approach to life, her sense of fun, her innate style and her massively powerful and moving voice and performance.''

Meanwhile, it seems the 27-year-old singer - who has three-year-old son Angelo with her partner Simon Konecki - could be wearing her own designs on her next tour as she's planning to release her own clothing line later this month.

A source said recently: ''It's still in the early stages, but she's been getting input from several designers and working on her own sketches. There will be a few signature pieces, like her favourite winter apparel, the poncho, but mostly it'll be mix-and-match day-wear in neutral tones.

''She's chosen really high-end, soft fabrics - the clothes are meant to be comfortable above everything else.''
