The former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ibrahim Lamorde, said yesterday that his exit from the agency was an act of God.
He said it was ordained for office holders to leave at a stage for others to come in.
Lamorde warned the agency officials against sabotaging the Acting Chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Magu.
The ex-EFCC boss, who spoke for eight minutes off-the-cuff, left members of the management and workers in a pensive mood.
But his inspiring remarks earned him a big applause in the end, because he did not betray his emotion.
