The President of Nigeria has approved the appointment of Suleiman Abba as the new Inspector General (IG) and will take over from M.D Abubakar. This has been confirmed by the spokesperson for president Goodluck Jonathan. Suleiman Abba hails from jigawa
state and happens to be an alumnus of Nigerian institute of policy and strategic studies.The appointment will commence on August 1st 2014.
