Osinbajo, Amosun, others for UNILAG Law Class reunion 1980–1983 set



Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, and Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, are among special guests expected at the University of Lagos, Law Class       1980–1983, 9th reunion event tagged: Olumo 2016, holding in the ancient city of Abeokuta, Ogun State, from March 18 to 20, 2016.

Other dignitaries expected to grace the event which brings together all members of the set include Ogun State Chief Judge, Hon. Justice, O. O. Olopade, CON; Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Hon. Justice Ibrahim Auta; President, UNILAG Alumni Association, Dr. Sunny Kuku; Professor Emeritus Adedokun Adeyemi; Professor Emeritus Isaac Agbede; and Dean of Law, University of Lagos, Professor Akin Ibidapo – Obe.

In a statement, Chairman of the Local Organising Committee, Hon. Justice Mobolaji Ojo, said highlight of the event would be the 8th Annual General Meeting of the group where key decisions affecting the association and issues of assistance to the Law Faculty will be discussed and a tour of the ancient city
which will include a visit to the Olumo Rock, and the Palace of Alake of Egba land, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo.

Justice Mobalaji Ojo stated that the UNILAG Law Class 1980–1983 re-union always offers members the opportunity to rub minds on issues affecting  the wellbeing of their members, as well as contribution to the continued development of the law faculty, University of Lagos, and national issues as it affects law practice in Nigeria.
