Ibrahimovic: I’m Just Getting Started

Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has told his Premier League suitors he has no intention of retiring anytime soon.

The Paris Saint Germain striker, who will lead the line for the French club against Chelsea in the Champions League on Wednesday night, is set to leave at the end of the season when his contract expires.

Ibrahimovic could prove an attractive proposition for an elite Premier League club next season, but at the age of 34, any move to England would surely be on a short-term basis.

However, Ibrahimovic insists he feels as fresh as ever and has no plans to hang up his boots.

“I feel young, very young. Age is just a number,” said the Swede.

“People say I’m old, but I’m only warming up. My future is I have two months left on my contract and then I go to the Euros.

“After that there’s nothing, I’m not in discussions with any other club.”
