Med-View Airline aborts Lagos-Abuja flight

Med-View-Airline
An Abuja bound Medview Airline aircraft, which took off from the domestic terminal of the Murtala Muhammed Airport,  Ikeja, Lagos, yesterday morning, was aborted mid-air due to a technical fault spotted by the pilot. An industry source told Daily Sun that the aircraft had already gained an altitude of about 8,000 feet above sea level when a fault was noticed on the cooling system, which also affected the pressure inside the aircraft.

“The aircraft had to make a return this morning. At about 8,000 feet altitude, it developed a pressurisation problem, which affected the cooling system,” said the source.  “The pilot properly briefed the passengers and landed safely. There was no panic on the aircraft.”

Another aircraft was made available immediately and the passengers were flown to Abuja,” he added.  The number of passengers on the flight could not immediately be ascertained as at the time of filling this report.
