Halle Berry, Olivier Martinez sued for $5 million over car seat fight at LAX

A Los Angeles airport employee who claims he was attacked by Halle Berry’s husband, Olivier Martinez, has sued the A-list couple for $5 million.

Airport employee Ronaldo Owens claims that when Martinez, his Oscar-winning wife and their children were swarmed by paparazzi after arriving in LAX, the French/Spanish actor used a baby car seat to shove him out of the way, according TMZ.

In a lawsuit filed Monday, Owens said he was not blocking the couple’s path out of the airport. He also said he had every right to be standing where he was as an airport employee.

TMZ reported that one angle of the video taken of the incident did show Owens trying to take photos on his cell phone.

Police told Gossip Cop website that the couple “required assistance from Los Angeles Airport Police after a crowd of photographers and a contract airport employee came too close to the family to take photos.”

Owens also accuses Martinez of brutally charging at him and says Berry was also responsible because she gave her husband “carte blanche ability to attack.”

Owens was treated at the scene and filed a police report.

Reps for Berry and Martinez have not commented.
