Byno claimed that the ‘Laye’ singer and his management used him to promote the song while he was not paid the money they promised to give the winner, and he actually took to his social media page to rant about it some months back. Meanwhile, Kiss Daniels’ camp fired back, saying that Byno begged them that he didn’t want the money, but that they should sign him to their label instead; an offer which they declined.
We ran into Byno at an event recently, and when we brought up the topic, he didn’t even wait for us to complete the question before he retorted, ‘I don’t want to talk about it.’
When we asked him if the ‘beef’ had been resolved, he spat, ‘I don’t care, and I don’t want to talk about it.’
On whether he would like to work with Kiss Daniels in the future, he said, ‘We’re cool. I’m still his fan. He does beautiful music, and I still score his songs. One love.’
