The president of the united states, Barrack Obama has rejected the challenge passed to him by the eldest member of the kennedy family still alive, ethel kennedy.
Obama will rather donate money to a charity fighting Lou Gehrig's disease than carry out the ALS ice bucket challenge.
The White House had this to say to Boston Globe‘s Matt Viser ;
“The President appreciates Mrs. Kennedy thinking of him for the challenge, though his contribution to this effort will be monetary”
