Joint Admission and matriculation board (JAMB) fixes 180 as cut-off mark for Varsities


The Joint Admission and matriculation board on tuesday in Abuja fix the Cut off mark into Universities in nigeria for 2015/16 academic year at 180 while the Cut off mark into higher institutions awarding National diploma is 150.

The Registrar of JAMB, Prof  Dibu Ojerinde warned tertiary institutions against going against this, warning them defaulters would be sanctioned.


455,639 candidates scored 200 marks and above while 207,720 scored between 190-199.
122,091 scored below 160
