Blessing Okagbare wins Gold at commonwealth games

Sprinter Blessing Okagbare had a great start… Veronica Campbell Brown didn’t believe her eyes! Nigerians are doing great in this year Commonwealth Games. Okagbare becomes the first Nigerian winner of this title since Mary Onyali back in 1994. She won Gold in the Women’s 100m for Nigeria in the Commonwealth Games. She won in a time of 10.85 seconds in
a new Games record, making her the second fastest woman of all time in World 100 metres. She beat Jamaica’s Veronica Campbell-Brown, Kerron Stewart and England’s Asha Phillip who came second, third and fourth respectively.
Blessing Okagbare has made nigerians proud. CONGRATULATIONS.
